Panchase Trek from Pokhara.

“The Panchase Trek is a popular trekking destination in Nepal. It takes five days to complete and passes through stunning forests, terraced hillsides, and rhododendron forests. However, the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain views are breathtaking.”

The Panchase Trek is a wonderful alternative trekking route for those who are new to the area. If you just have a limited amount of time or are a beginner hiker, go to the Pokhara region. while still experiencing beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and learning about the local ethnic people’s everyday lives. The Panchase trek begins on the banks of the lovely Phewa Lake and leads to Panchase village, a beautiful spot. But it serves as an excellent primer in the Annapurna area. Pokhara is located on the banks of Phewa Lake.

The Panchase is about 30 kilometres from Pokhara. It’s a terrific little hike with some of the best views in the area on a clear day. During the winter, snow falls over Panchase village, which is located at 2500 meters above sea level. From here, you can see the magnificent Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and Dhaulagiri. A small lake atop the Panchase trek adds to the extra attractiveness of this site. This is a less-touristic area with spectacular mountain views along the way and without the crowds of other popular hikes in Annapurna region treks.

The hike takes you through lovely villages and terraced farms. High slopes of rhododendron woodland with diverse flora and fauna are also present. This short hike takes you off the usual path and into a rural area with spectacular Himalayan views. The scenery, as well as the vibrant local culture and customs, are breathtaking. This excursion provides a panoramic view of the mountain ranges of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu. In addition, there is information on the local ethnic people and their lifestyle, as well as a pilgrimage place, a green forest, and bird watching. This is a great little hike for travellers, families with children, and environment enthusiasts of all kinds.

When you arrive in Kathmandu, our representative will meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and transport you to your accommodation. You will have plenty of time to relax, and our guide will give you an overview of the package. In the evening, you will be treated to delectable Nepali cuisine while listening to traditional folk music.

After breakfast, our city guide picks you up from your hotel in a private vehicle and drives you to the world heritage sites of Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, Bauddhanath Stupa, and, if time permits, Kathmandu Durbar Square before returning to your hotel with the Best and Breakfast plan.

Our travel to Pokhara will begin in the early morning. A tourist bus will take you there in around 7-8 hours. Throughout the voyage, the distant vistas of mountains and lush green landscapes will entice you. You will be transported to your hotel near Phewa Lake upon arriving in Pokhara, where you may enjoy the lovely nighttime scenery of Phewa Lake and its surroundings.

To get to the beginning site of the journey, take a boat ride over Phewa Lake. The Shanti Stupa (also known as the World Peace Pagoda) was erected in 1973 by a group of Japanese Buddhists and is a little way up the path. It is a famous tourist site in Pokhara, but the crowds will thin out as you continue on the hiking trail.

The route continues on from the Shanti Stupa, passing through the forest before climbing steeply back up and into the settlement of Lukum Swara. The majority of the people in this area are from the Gurung and Brahman ethnic groups, and you'll have lots of opportunities to witness their agricultural livelihoods on your walk. The walk today comes to a close in beautiful Bumdi village.

Today's hike will take us deeper into the forest, with occasional glimpses of the mountains. The peaks to look out for are Lamjung, Gangapurna, Machhapucchare, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, and Manaslu. Your guide should be able to distinguish between the two. The forests you'll pass through are especially fascinating because of the variety of flora and fauna they hold, including a variety of birds, monkeys, orchids, and a diverse range of plants. The Rhododendron, Nepal's national flower, maybe in full bloom in the spring. The day concludes with a modest climb to Panchase Bhanjyang.

Climb the stone stairs up to Panchase Peak at around 500 meters early this morning (the sooner the better if you want to see the sunrise). This is the highest point on the trail, and from here you should be able to view an incredible vista of the mountains that have been poking out at you throughout the hike. Breakfast at the peak, then spend the remainder of the day gradually descending to Bhadaure, your overnight destination.

Today's walk descends slowly, passing through various communities and following a jeep path for part of the route. The trekking track meets the road at Naudanda, where you will be picked up and transported back to Pokhara. Alternatively, pursue one of the proposed variants below to lengthen the walk by one or more days.

You'll be leaving for Kathmandu on this day. Depending on your travel preferences, you can travel to Kathmandu. By car, it will take 6/7 hours, or by plane, it will take 25 minutes. Upon arrival, you can enjoy meandering through Thamel's streets or purchase a souvenir to take home as a memento or to give to a loved one. Thamel offers a diverse range of activities.

Every great adventure must come to an end, and today is the last day of your stay in Nepal and the end of the incredible Panchase Trek. For your departure, you will be escorted to Tribhuvan International Airport. Apart from this magnificent excursion, there are many gorgeous sites to explore.
